Whether you've been thinking about it for a while or it just crossed your mind — this is a no-pressure space to learn, ask questions, and hear directly from people who are actually doing it.
We're hosting this session in collaboration wit McDonough Rescue, who will be leading the conversation and sharing their expertise. This is not tied to fostering with any one rescue — our goal is simply to help you feel informed and confident, wherever you choose to go from here.

The McDonough Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to saving dogs from overcrowded shelters in Southern California. We fight for the forgotten, the overlooked, and the at-risk. These dogs may be out of time - but they’re not out of hope.
Founded in February 2024, our mission is simple: to give as many dogs as we can a chance at a good life and unconditional love. We rescue because they deserve more than a cage and a countdown - they deserve a future. None of this work is possible without the support of the community. We can't thank you all enough.
Down To Foster LA is a foster community and social club connecting rescue organizations with available homes across Los Angeles. We bring people together who are ready to open their doors — even temporarily — because every dog deserves a place to land.

Dogs Only Social Club (DOSC) is a free community group that brings pet lovers together across Los Angeles.
