Tiziana Alocci Open Studio — Frieze Week
An invitation to visit Tiziana Alocci’s London studio during Frieze Week.
Tiziana Alocci opens her London studio during Frieze Week for a small presentation of recent work, ongoing research and works in progress.
Alocci’s practice investigates absent data and invisible phenomena, developing new ways of sensing, recording and mapping what cannot easily be seen or quantified. Working across data, sound, custom software and physical media, her projects move between research, fieldwork and installation.
The studio visit will include new work developed through her recent artist residency aboard a cargo ship into the invisible infrastructures of maritime trade, alongside material connected to her forthcoming book, Absent Data.
An informal opportunity to encounter the work within the context in which it is developed, and to discuss the research, processes and ideas behind it.
For Frieze Week only. Limited attendance.
