About Event

Join us for a fireside chat with Kaiwen Yuan, Co-Founder & Head of Engineering at Safari AI and founding member of Serve Robotics (Nasdaq: SERV). With a PhD in AI and Robotics from UBC, Kaiwen has built machine learning systems from the ground up across robotics, computer vision, and real-time operations.

Kaiwen will share his career journey from academia to co-founding an AI startup, offer candid feedback from his experience interviewing and hiring students, and discuss how students can bridge the gap between academic training and industry expectations.

The session wraps with an extended Ask Me Anything, so bring your questions about AI careers, startup life, technical interviews, or anything on your mind.
