​Steve Tauber: 2000 Watts - The 2000-watt society proposes that a high quality of life is possible with an average continuous energy use of 2000 W per person, roughly 17 500 kWh per year, including housing, transport, food, and consumption. This short introduction explains the concept and shows how to estimate your current energy use across major categories to begin designing a low-carbon, solarpunk future grounded in measurable limits.
