Don't Get Scared Jazz Trio @93 Coffee

Halloween is the one night a year we all agree to be scared on purpose.

But there are also things we simply wish to not be scared about. Starting something new. Falling for someone. Being alone on a Friday. A friendship quietly changing shape. Or Vancouver sunset getting earlier day by day. Yet nobody puts on a costume for those.

So I want to bring you a set around these. Songs about solitude that turns out to be good company. About people laughing at you but you keep being you. About learning to enjoy the season of change. And about the wish to remove fear from your heart for the year ahead.

🎂It’s also my birthday month, which is why the wish is there, October babies, come to this concert!

I’m not scared, because I’ve got amazing musicians I admire playing on this trio: 🎸Cameron Hood on bass, and 🎹 John Stetch @johnjulian396 on piano.

👻 Costume gets you in for $10, and the @93coffee chef is cooking something special I’m not going to spoil.

Two sets of jazz in the early evening and you still make your Halloween plans. Come to join us, really!
