Trends in Net Zero Transit Infrastructure: Bay Area Lessons Learned
The majority of transit agencies in the West Coast have defined strict zero-emission targets for their operations. This implies a major infrastructure challenge to enable the use of new technologies, deliver upgraded facilities, and deliver required charging infrastructure.
This event will showcase recent efforts by transit agencies in the Bay Area including SFMTA, AC Transit, and SamTrans to decarbonize their operations.
During the presentation, we will discuss hydrogen use for fleets, grid service upgrades for major depots, and delivery methods for the needed infrastructure.
This event will include expert commentary from guests in academia, transit agencies, and developers.
Confirmed panel members include:
Jimmy Chen (Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy)
Bhavin Khatri (SFMTA)
