Trends in Net Zero Transit Infrastructure: Bay Area Lessons Learned

​The majority of transit agencies in the West Coast have defined strict zero-emission targets for their operations. This implies a major infrastructure challenge to enable the use of new technologies, deliver upgraded facilities, and deliver required charging infrastructure.

​This event will showcase recent efforts by transit agencies in the Bay Area including SFMTA, AC Transit, and SamTrans to decarbonize their operations.

​During the presentation, we will discuss hydrogen use for fleets, grid service upgrades for major depots, and delivery methods for the needed infrastructure.

​This event will include expert commentary from guests in academia, transit agencies, and developers.
