Australia-China Bioinnovation Roundtable 2026
2026 Australia–China BioInnovation Roundtable
Going Global, Together
An official satellite event of AusBiotech's Australia's Biggest Week in Biotech
Principal partner: WuXi AppTec
China's biotech companies have gone global fast — record out-licensing volumes and direct deals with the world's largest pharmaceutical firms. Australia has the science, the trials and the incentives, but fewer companies that have made the jump.
Each side has something the other wants. That's the conversation.
Our third Roundtable, held on day one of Australia's Biggest Week in Biotech — a few minutes from the convention centre, while the industry is already in town. A Shanghai venue runs alongside, so the China side speaks for itself rather than being reported secondhand.
The 2025 edition brought together 100+ delegates across Melbourne and Shanghai, with 43,000 joining online. This one stays deliberately small: half a day, capped at 80, built around discussion rather than presentations.
