Who is the event for:
Start-up founders, operators, future-founders and investors. Unfortunately, the event is not welcome to vendors and those looking to sell services to our guests on the night.
Our talk and topic: Proof of concept to scalable systems
Our talk will be led by Daniel Watts, a Fractional CTO for start-ups and scale-ups who will be talking through the engineering, product and team journey to take a product from proof of concept > MVP > scalable systems. The talk will focus on building in the modern world of AI tooling.
Daniel is an experienced engineering leader with a strong track record of launching and scaling new ventures. He spent six years at BCG X, progressing to Engineering Director, where he operated as a Venture CTO, leading the end-to-end build of multiple startups from idea to launch.
He has successfully launched multiple startups, which are operating and performing well. He brings extensive experience in building products for both B2B and DTC markets, and having worked in a venture builder, he has unique insights as to how a customer, business and investor view a product and how this is built.
We will then be joined by a panel of investors for our VC Q&A. This is an open forum for Founders to ask questions that you wouldn't typically have the opportunity to ask during a pitch. Some of the topics we discussed previously include:
