Robomasters Hackathon

​Celebrate Hacktoberfest with a hands-on robotics challenge combining coding, creativity, teamwork, and experimentation.

​In this special Search & Rescue Robot Build Night, participants will program a UBTECH UGOT robot to complete a series of missions inspired by real-world search and rescue scenarios.

​Working in teams, you’ll write and refine code to help your robot navigate a disaster zone, avoid hazards, locate stranded “victims,” follow routes, and complete rescue objectives. Each challenge will encourage you to experiment, debug, collaborate, and improve your solution, bringing the spirit of Hacktoberfest into the physical world.

​Whether you’re an experienced developer or completely new to coding and robotics, the event is designed to be accessible, practical, and fun. Expect plenty of testing, unexpected robot behaviour, rapid iteration, and opportunities to learn from other participants.

​The night will finish with a final rescue mission, where teams put their solutions to the test and see how successfully their robots can complete the challenge.
