First Annual NYCW Food, Ag, Land Field Day
Step away from the panels, badges, and windowless conference rooms and come play outside… all in the name of climate impact.
Join us in Central Park for the first annual NYCW Food, Ag + Land Field Day, for games, friendly competition, prizes, bagels, and the best networking money can’t buy.
This one’s for the people working across food, agriculture, forestry, land use, nature, water, climate, and the messy spaces in between. We’ll trade panels and conference rooms for field-day games, ridiculous competition, and a chance to actually meet the people doing the work.
Expect games, friendly competition, prizes, bagels, and the best networking money can’t buy.
We’re assembling a collection of field-day games ranging from mildly competitive to completely ridiculous. Expect opportunities to run around, collaborate, compete, laugh, and meet fellow ag and land people in a decidedly non-conference setting.
Rough Agenda:
8:00-8:30: Warm up, boot up. We've got the field reserved at this time!
8:30-8:45: early birds eating worms (erm, bagels and coffee)
9:00-10:00: fierce competition
10:00-10:05: tallying the points
10:05-10:30: award ceremony and trashtalking (erm, networking)
10:30-11:00: enough time to get to your next event! (or, chill in the park and help us clean up)
