BHFH Holiday Party
Dear Friends,
We’re excited to invite you to our annual holiday party!
When: Sunday, December 14, 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Where: Beacon Hill Friends House
Drop in for music, a cookie swap, and ornament decorating. Come celebrate the season with us!
Things to Know
Family-friendly: There will be activities for both kids and adults to enjoy.
Cookie Swap:
You don’t need to bring anything to attend!
If you love to bake, bring a plate of cookies to add to the swap.
We’ll provide bags for attendees to take cookies home, but you’re welcome to bring your own container.
Vegan and gluten-free cookies will be available and clearly labeled with ingredients.
Please note:
We are not a nut-free household, so some cookies will contain nuts.
Gluten-free cookies may not be safe for those with celiac disease.
Ornament Decorating:
The activity will take place in the Parlor using tempera and puff paint.
You can hang your ornament on our tree or take it home.
Accessibility:
The Meeting Room has a ground-level entrance accessible for small and standard wheelchairs.
The Parlor is up a flight of stairs.
An all-gender bathroom will be available on the ground floor.
Parking: $9 passes for the Boston Common Garage will be available.
COVID Safety
We care deeply about making this gathering safe and accessible for everyone, especially those who are more vulnerable. With COVID cases on the rise during winter months, here’s what you can expect:
Testing:
Please take a COVID test before attending.
We will also have free tests available on site.
Testing helps prevent asymptomatic spread.
Masking:
Masks are encouraged for everyone, and we will have extras available.
Masks are required if you have traveled or had a known exposure to COVID within four days prior to the event.
If you feel unwell:
If you have symptoms of COVID or another contagious illness, please stay home.
We’ll miss you, but your care for the community matters.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
With warmth and gratitude,
The Beacon Hill Friends House Community
