Startup CTOs (SF): Agentic Experiments
Join us on Tuesday February 10th at 6pm in FiDi for the inaugural Startup CTOs CTO Studio, an invite only event series for venture backed CTOs scaling from a team to an org.
Co-hosted by Peter Bell and part of the Gather.dev community, these exclusive monthly sessions bring together CTOs with ~10 - ~85 in product/engineering, and provide a place for them to resolve their biggest challenges with their closest peers.
This months panelists include:
Rob Zuber, CTO, CircleCI
Charity Majors, CTO, Honeycomb
This month we’ll be sharing our agentic experiments for accelerating the SDLC. It’s pretty clear that agentic engineering is working in single player mode, whether it’s a handful of Claude Code/Codex instances or going full on with Steve Yegge’s gastown if you can afford the tokens and the brain damage :)
But how do you scale agentic engineering across an org? How do you manage agent and skill specs and ensure that the committed code isn’t just AI slop?
The event will kick off with a panel including Rob Zuber, CTO @ CircleCI and Charity Majors, CTO @ Honeycomb and a short Q&A. Then we'll break out into small groups to dig into the real challenges everyone is facing. Share your experience, and learn from what is and isn’t working for your peers.
Food and drink provided:
Event Schedule:
6pm - 9pm. We kick off with food and drink followed by a short panel discussion at 6.30pm. Breakouts start at 7.15pm and then we’ll keep the discussion going more informally from 8pm until the end of the event.
We’re grateful to our partners at Howdy.com for supporting this conversation and CircleCI for hosting the event.
