CTOs at Scale (NYC): Security in the age of Mythos
ONLY for CTOs (and VPE’s/Heads of Engineering) running orgs of ~85+ engineers.
CTOs at Scale is an invite only community for CTOs/VPEs running larger orgs. It is a Gather.dev community, curated by Peter Bell.
Join us on Thursday June 18th at 8:00am in NoMad for a briefing and discussion on what security has to become when humans can no longer patch quickly enough to keep up.
Security in the age of Mythos
We have crossed into a strange era. Agentic factories ship code at a rate that the traditional security cycle (find, ticket, schedule, fix, deploy) was never designed for. Vulnerabilities surface faster. Dependencies churn faster. The attack surface expands every time an agent opens a PR. Even a well-staffed AppSec team that was holding the line a year ago is starting to drown.
In this session I’ll start by walking through what security has to become when the factory and the threat landscape move faster than any human team can keep up with: how to fold verification, dependency triage, vulnerability scanning, and remediation into the same loop the agents are running in; how to shift from “humans patch” to “the factory patches itself”; where a human is still important, and where people are a bottleneck you cannot afford.
Then, as usual, we’ll dig into how this applies to our individual orgs.
Schedule:
8:00am Breakfast
8:30am Facilitated boardroom discussion
9:30am End of formal discussion
10:00am End of event
