About Event

In today’s high-pressure and fast-paced environments, awareness alone is not enough to shift behaviour. Organizations need practical tools that move Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) beyond policy into everyday actions.

This interactive session explores how storytelling can be used as a powerful tool to humanize DEI, challenge assumptions, and create meaningful behaviour change. Through lived experience and real-world scenarios, participants will engage in honest conversations about bias, microaggressions, and accountability in the workplace.

Attendees will gain practical strategies to:

  • Recognize and address unconscious bias and microaggressions

  • Strengthen psychological safety within teams

  • Navigate difficult conversations with confidence and respect

  • Practice bystander awareness and accountability

  • Contribute to a more inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture

This session is designed to be reflective, practical, and actionable equipping participants with tools they can immediately apply in their roles.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify behaviours that impact psychological safety

  • Apply practical tools to address bias and microaggressions

  • Engage in respectful, constructive dialogue in challenging situations

  • Demonstrate accountability as individuals and leaders in fostering inclusion
