2026 Taipei Computer Association Delegation Matchmaking Workshop
Event Overview
The City of Irvine and community partners are welcoming a delegation of approximately 15 representatives from Taiwan’s Taipei Computer Association to Orange County from August 27–28, 2026.
The Matchmaking Workshop is designed to facilitate meaningful discovery. The visiting companies will be making 5-minute presentations to facilitate deeper discussions that will occur in breakout groups.
The Taipei Computer Association (TCA) is one of Taiwan’s leading technology industry organizations, representing more than 3,100 member companies across the ICT sector, including software, hardware, semiconductors, electronics, and emerging technologies. Founded in 1974, TCA advances Taiwan’s technology ecosystem by fostering industry collaboration, supporting innovation and startups, and building international partnerships and business opportunities.
The delegation is visiting Southern California to explore opportunities for business development, market expansion, partnership building, and establishing a U.S. presence, with particular interest in Orange County’s technology and innovation ecosystem. Delegates are also interested in identifying potential cooperation partners and learning how cities in the region are approaching smart-city development and the adoption of innovative technologies.
