Competitive Programming: Building Your Intuition
In collaboration with CCSIG

📍 Appleton Tower, Room 5.05
🗓️ Wednesday 4 November, 15:00 – 17:00

Join JetBrains and CCSIG for an interactive evening of problem solving, learning and teaching each other.

What we'll cover

  • Core concepts: the key ideas and techniques that come up again and again in competitive programming.

  • Building intuition: exercises designed to help you recognise patterns and figure out how to approach a problem.

  • Tools of the trade: websites, judges and resources you can use to practise and prepare for ICPC-style competitions.

Who it's for

Beginners curious about competitive programming, and seasoned competitors looking to sharpen up.

Your speaker

This session will be led by Jaiditya Khemani from JetBrains.

Staying on campus? Join us again at 18:00 in Appleton Tower Lecture Theatre 1 for Kodee’s Guide to KMP and Koog, where we’ll build a multiplatform app in Kotlin and add AI features with Koog.
