โThe Own Your Voice Vision is simpleโ to create a world where each and every one of us feels empowered to speak up and share our ideas. A world where we lean into our curiosity, engage in critical discussions, and wrestle through the messy middles.
โShare what brings you down the rabbit hole, present bizness ideas that donโt feel ready yet, or share a bit of your life story that still blows you away.
โWe're creating a space for your stories and perspectives to meet others, so we may leave feeling a little inspired, enlightened, or even challenged.
โHow it works:
โโWeโll have 3 presenters for the session. Presentation topics are thoughtfully curated and intentionally diverse. Scroll down below to get a hint on what each topic entails, then come, and be surprised :)
โAs the audience, we lean inโ connect with their stories, listen to their insights, and get curious about our own opinions about the topic.
โWeโll then break out into lightly facilitated discussions to share our point of view and exchange stories.
โWhat kind of topics? ๐ธ
โWe're still in the midst of curating the topics. Every session has 3 very different topics, so there's definitely a topic you'll relate to.
โThe topics are usually centred around life's challenges, interpersonal relationships, culture and identity.
โHere are some topics we've had:
โHow to ruin your life by choosing the wrong partner (by an ex-divorce lawyer)
โThe Human Currency โ what gives us our edge in an AI/Tech world
โOvercoming Addiction and finding love/ starting life again
โReimagining Education, what do our children need?
โ๐ Since V-Day is around the corner, topics will be surrounding human experiences around love โ self-love, marriage, break-ups/ divorce, how to love a difficult person, and more.

โโ7.30 - 7.45PM: Mingle and Ice-breakers!
โโ7.45 - 8.30PM: 3 curated presentations + Q&A
โโ8.30 - 9.30PM: Breakout sessions (your chance to share your thoughts and exchange ideas!)
