About the Speakers:
Allison McHenry
Allison is the CTO at Daily Kos, where she leads the engineering organization supporting one of the largest progressive media and activism platforms in the US. Prior to Daily Kos, Allison served as CTO at The Daily Beast, overseeing technology, data, product, and growth with full P&L ownership, and previously as SVP of Engineering leading web, mobile, and infrastructure teams.
Earlier in her career, Allison was a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta responsible for Facebook App Identity, leading 45+ engineers and managers through large-scale changes to the platform. She also held senior engineering leadership roles at The New York Times, guiding the Standalone Products group from 40 to 85 engineers and leading due diligence for acquisitions, as well as at Vox Media, Priceline, and Major League Baseball Advanced Media.
Nitesh Donti
Nitesh is the first engineering leader at Siro.ai, where he leads the team building an AI-native intelligence platform that captures, processes, and derives insights from in-person sales and service conversations. Previously, he was Head of Release Engineering at Benchling, owning the company’s CI/CD infrastructure and quarterly enterprise cloud releases, and earlier served as an Engineering Manager supporting its biotech R&D platform through rapid growth.
Before joining Siro and Benchling, Nitesh spent nearly five years at Google as a Senior Software Engineer on YouTube’s Channels & Playlists Infrastructure, architecting large-scale systems that powered features for billions of users, and mentoring through Tech Exchange and Asians@Google. He began his career at LinkedIn as a Software Engineer on the flagship iOS app, where he built core video features.
