Vibe Coding with Engineering Principles

About Event:

Generative AI tools have made it easier than ever to turn natural language prompts into working software a.k.a "Vibe Coding" . However, without fundamental software engineering discipline, AI-generated code quickly becomes unmaintainable, buggy, and difficult to scale. This has real world consequences, and is the difference between success or a business closing down. This intensive 1-day workshop bridges the gap between rapid AI prototyping and real-world software development. Participants will learn how to pair prompting with core engineering practices, including system blueprinting, environment containerization, version control, and modern web deployment.

By the end of the session, you will build and deploy a fully functional web application from scratch, equipped with the knowledge to maintain, debug, and scale your AI-assisted projects. Who this session is for:

• Non-developers, product managers, designers, and entrepreneurs who want to rapidly prototype and launch custom web applications without a traditional coding background.

• Beginners with basic AI familiarity (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc) looking to elevate their skills from generating simple prompts to building production-ready web apps.

• Tech-curious individuals and innovators of all ages who are interested in applying structured software engineering principles to AI-driven workflows.
