​​Come join for our next Humongous AI meetup. Mingle with other AI enthusiasts over cocktails, courtesy of Machina Ventures.

Who watches the watchers (or “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” if you studied the classics). In an increasingly complex universe of AI agents carrying out different functions, acting and in some cases negotiating or arguing on our behalf, how do we ensure alignment with our values and interests?  How do we know they have not been co-opted or corrupted by other incentives? Can benchmarks, evaluation harnesses, and layers of overseeing agents provide real assurance, or do they create only the illusion of control in systems whose behavior is emergent and difficult to fully constrain?Please make sure to RSVP soon since capacity is limited.  The door code will be send via email the day of the event.
