2nd Digital Economy Roundtable (DERT 2)
Across the country, more people are discovering the power of being connected; a student learning online, a farmer checking market prices, a young entrepreneur finding customers through the internet. Yet too many still remain offline.
Co-hosted by the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU) and the Ministry of Technology and Science (MOTS), the Digital Economy Roundtable brings together government, business, and development partners with one shared goal: to extend digital access and opportunity to every Zambian. Together, we can connect 800,000 more citizens to broadband by 2026, opening new pathways for participation in the digital economy.
This platform is a space to recognize progress, share what’s working, and shape the next phase of action. Each organization is invited to reflect on how it can contribute through investment, innovation, digital literacy, or community programs. Every effort moves us closer to a more connected and empowered Zambia.
