About Event

What does it actually take to build a healthtech company?

Join Assuric, NXGN and LIHE for an afternoon bringing together healthtech founders, investors, regulators and clinicians to unpack the journey from idea to impact.

Across the afternoon, we’ll explore three sides of building in healthtech:

  1. Build it. Starting, scaling and failing
Founders from pre-seed to Series B+ share how they got started, what changed as they grew, and what went wrong along the way. Expect honest lessons on the decisions that mattered and what they’d do differently.

  2. Prove it. Regulation, compliance and selling to the NHS
Regulatory experts, NHS procurement leads and founders who have taken products to market will unpack how to get a product certified, trusted and procured, and how to navigate regulation without derailing your timeline.

  3. Fund it. Pitching, raising and closing
A fireside chat that flips the usual set-up, with a founder grilling investors on how funding decisions are really made. We’ll cover VC, angel and grant funding, and when dilutive or non-dilutive funding makes sense.

There will also be a live pitch event, giving early-stage healthtech founders the opportunity to pitch their companies to a panel of VC and investment judges.

We’ll finish with drinks and networking, bringing together the people building, backing and shaping the next generation of healthtech.

Huge thanks to our partners GCP and SciPro for helping to make this possible.
