Skill Swap Club

​Skill Swap Club is a neighbor-to-neighbor exchange that reconnects people by sharing what we know. This club lets residents trade skills without money.

​Skill Swap Club also creates accessible ways to connect, in a one-on-one or small group exchange. Whether as a multigenerational community or to offer safe alternatives for disabled residents, introverts, and anyone who finds traditional community events challenging.

​✨WHAT TO EXPECT

​✔️ A welcome, light refreshments, mingling, both prepared and onsite in search of (ISO) skills wall with sticky notes

​✔️ A 20-minute SHOW & SHARE

✔️ And conclude with a thank you and encouraging others to join at the next meetup.

​🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING

​✔️ Participants should bring anything that will help them connect with others: a sketchbook to exchange information or business cards (printed, digital, or tap to connect).

✔️ Optional: snack to share or contribute to the snack fund, if able.

​LOCATION DESCRIPTION

​Accessibility:

• ​There is a zero-step entrance into the space, with another entrance available if the glass garage doors are down.

• ​The driveway ramps up to our space.

• ​One accessible bathroom is available on our floor.

• ​Please reach out with other specific accessibility questions or requests and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

​Located in South Kensington/North Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia.

• ​Driving: Street parking is available immediately on the block of the building

• ​Masks are optional, but are encouraged for any attendees who choose to wear one. We respect our guests choices on this matter.
