About The Session
For owners and operators of small regulated practices (law, dental and health, accounting) who want to use AI without breaking client confidentiality or professional rules. This session will use Claude (Anthropic), used in a free account on practice data during the session. Participants will be required to bring their own laptops.
Facilitator | Sunny Atwal
Sunny Atwal is VP of Engineering at Luminopia, a digital health startup whose FDA-approved therapy for childhood lazy eye was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025. Over his 15-year career he has built engineering teams and shipped products under strict clinical, security, and regulatory standards. A Toronto Metropolitan University computer science graduate, he also runs Bloom Immersive, a consultancy that helps small businesses adopt AI.

The AI Foundation program features eight unique AI-focused training sessions designed to equip SME owners and employees with the knowledge and practical skills needed to remain competitive in an AI-driven economy. Each session is hands-on, interactive, and focused on real-world business applications—from streamlining operations and improving productivity to enhancing sales and customer engagement. Participants will learn directly from experienced AI professionals, entrepreneurs, and founders who will share practical insights, proven strategies, and accessible AI tools that can be implemented immediately in their businesses.
