Building a Global Tech Hub
Join us for this month’s TechTuesday, an opportunity for our annual update on Kanata North, where a distinguished panel will discuss the future of Kanata North’s role in supporting Ottawa as a leading global tech hub.
As Ottawa continues to invest in innovation, infrastructure, and talent, our city is gaining recognition as a world-class centre for technology. Mayor Mark Sutcliffe has underscored the importance of strategic investments in areas such as defence, semiconductors, photonics, and clean technology, while Councillor Cathy Curry continues to champion Kanata North’s community with its unique ecosystem and special economic zone designation. Kelly Daize, Executive Director of the Kanata North Business Association, is advancing initiatives in Canada’s largest tech park, that bring together industry, academia, and government to strengthen our tech park as a connected, sustainable, and globally competitive tech hub.
Moderated by Veronica Farmer, Chief Marketing Officer at Wesley Clover International, the discussion will explore how Ottawa and Kanata North are driving innovation through smart city projects, tech policy, and partnerships that foster local growth with global impact. This is a unique opportunity to hear from those directly involved in the strategic planning and development of Kanata North and Ottawa's position as a global tech hub.
