WRITERS RISEEEE

Open Source Nest is on a mission to bring open source to you, and this is another exciting workshop for you! 🚀

"How to Contribute to Open Source as a Writer" is a free, 3-day hands-on workshop by Open Source Nest designed for people with an interest in writing, editing, blogging, and content creation. Come and learn how much open source needs you!!

While many people think open source is only about code, the truth is that open source projects thrive on clear documentation, helpful guides, engaging blogs, and inclusive content.

📌 This is Day 1 of the workshop, and once you register, you’ll automatically be added to the rest of the days. No stress, just one signup and you’re in for the full journey.

Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants will learn how to:

Identify writing opportunities in open source projects
Apply writing standards and tools like Markdown
Collaborate with maintainers and submit meaningful contributions
Showcase their open-source writing portfolio

✨ Whether you’re starting as a newbie or aiming to level up like a pro, this workshop will guide you through the journey.
