Plein Air at Preservation Park

​Bring your pencils, paints, and easels to draw from life with us en plein air with Underpainting Collective at the beautiful Preservation Park!

​This is a no-cost plein air painting meet-up where we will have three opportunities to work on your piece (or start new ones!): Saturday July 25, Saturday August 8, and Sunday September 13.

​Drawing and painting en plein air (literally: in the open air) is a long favorite tradition and pastime for artists, and this is a unique opportunity to depict Preservation Park's historic Oakland buildings in a picturesque landscape.

​Chairs and bathrooms will be available on-site.

​Arrival & Parking
Preservation Park is two blocks from the 12th Street Civic Center BART station, and attendees are welcome to park onsite at Preservation Park.
