Photography Is… Slowing Down - From Lens to Self Festival 2026
We live at a pace that leaves little room for observation.
Images arrive constantly; we scroll, quickly connect, and easily move on.
Photography can introduce a different rhythm: pause, wait, notice the light, looking something again, focus on it, and decide what deserves your attention.
In this workshop, you will discover and explore photography as a practice of slowing down. Through simple exercises, you will use your camera to spend time with a subject and notice details that hurry tends to hide, then allowing the photograph to open up new questions.
The experience offers a practical way to be more attentive to the world, starting with what is right in front of you.
