Open Builders x IndieBeers: Demo & Drinks
This time, Open Builders Lisbon teams up with IndieBeers Lisboa, bringing together two communities built on the same idea: builders talking to builders, over a drink, without pitch decks.
Open Builders Lisbon is a community of and for people building things, by people building things. At its core are solo builders and indie devs working on their own products, joined by anyone who's actually making something, whether full-time, on the side, or next to a "regular" job.
We get together once a month to share what we've been building and what we learned along the way. Failures, pivots and failed demos are not only allowed, but encouraged. Don't expect polished presentations.
Format
We will have 3 community demos (max 15 min each) followed by Q&A. Speakers demo their product as well as what they learned building it, from a business, technical or product perspective. They share the mistakes made and lessons learnt.
Past projects include:
- a CLI for lossless storage of all conversation with your agents
- an email cleaning AI for investors
- a framework for building AI agents
- a personal health platform
After the demos, stick around for drinks and conversation with fellow builders.

If you're building something as a side project, a hobby, as a solopreneur, as a startup or at work, you're in the right place. If you haven't yet built something, but are actually interested in the space, come along as well.
Our meetup is less technical than a pure developer meetup, but more in-depth than your typical "how to work with AI" event.
Who is this not for
If you're looking to market your new course, build a personal brand or "network" your way through the room, this is the wrong place.
