關於 Code for Taiwan

About Code for Taiwan
Inspired by g0v, Code for Taiwan was founded with the vision of helping everyone in Taiwan develop a basic understanding of code and computational thinking.
Unlike g0v’s project-driven model, Code for Taiwan focuses on spreading the “Code Concept” — helping people understand how to think in code, not just how to use it.
In today’s era of AI and automation, many are turning to no-code or low-code tools. While this makes creation easier, it can also lead to a lack of understanding of what’s actually being built. Through Code for Taiwan, we hope to guide people to develop not only software, but also the logical mindset behind programming — so it’s more than just pressing buttons on a slot machine.
Code for Taiwan isn’t only for engineers, PMs, or designers starting their journey — it’s also for those outside the major cities. We aim to bring the same learning opportunities to rural and regional communities, reducing the digital divide and empowering everyone with technological literacy.
Just as our name says, Code for Taiwan — we hope to make good code, and good thinking, accessible to everyone in Taiwan.
