​Join us for MIX, a monthly gathering designed to spark collaboration, share ideas, and strengthen our innovation community. Startup, Policy, Industry, Academia, Creatives, Entrepreneurs, researchers, civic leaders, and ecosystem partners come together to explore a rotating theme through lightning talks, small-group conversations, and informal networking. Whether you're launching a new venture, driving scientific discovery, or building community infrastructure, MIX is a space to connect, learn, and grow—together. Enjoy happy hour bites, meaningful dialogue, and the chance to get inspired by others shaping the future in and around our region.

​For our June MIX session, we’re partnering with the California Starters Coalition powered by Right to Start, the Carlsen Center for Entrepreneurship, and America the Entrepreneurial to bring together entrepreneurs, local business owners, policymakers, and community leaders for lightning talks and roundtable discussion about what it really takes to remove barriers to entrepreneurial opportunity in our region. We’ll look at entrepreneurs experience and fortitude in navigating policies, resources, and day‑to‑day experiences that shape Sacramento’s entrepreneurial landscape — and where there’s real opportunity to remove existing barriers in an effort to strengthen support for those that want to start.

​We welcome anyone who is a starter, dreamer, maker, and doer or works to empower them in succeeding. MIX is a space to connect with others who are working toward the same goals. Expect thoughtful conversation, practical insights, and the chance to meet people who are actively shaping the region’s economic and creative future.
