🚊 Session 4: Housing & Transportation
Where we live and how we get around shape our budgets, our health, and our climate footprint. Right now, too many Angelenos are priced out, stuck in traffic, or living in harm's way.
This week, we'll explore how LA can become a city where everyone can afford to live, get around, and stay safe. We'll look at how more homes near transit, better buses and bike lanes, and smarter rebuilding after fires can make LA more affordable and more climate-ready at the same time.
🧠 In this session, you'll...
See how housing and transportation costs add up for LA families
Learn how homes near transit and walkable neighborhoods cut costs and emissions
Explore what better buses, trains, and bike lanes could look like in LA
Understand fire risk, insurance, and how to rebuild more safely
Calculate the true cost of your own commute
