Quantum Computing: What Becomes Valuable Before It Becomes Obvious?
Quantum computing sits at the edge of science, strategy, capital allocation and commercial hype.
For this London Venture Club session, we will bring together a curated group of entrepreneurs, investors, operators and expert voices for an off-the-record discussion on what quantum computing may actually change, where the opportunity is beginning to form, and what serious people should understand before the market becomes obvious.
This will not be a technical lecture or a general introduction to quantum computing. Attendees will receive an advance primer so that the room starts from a shared baseline of knowledge. The evening will focus instead on commercial judgement: what is real, what is still speculative, and where value may emerge first.
The discussion will explore:
What quantum computers may be able to do that classical computers cannot
Where the current hype exceeds the reality

The aim is to leave the room better equipped to ask intelligent questions, spot meaningful signals, avoid obvious traps, and understand where quantum computing may create strategic advantage over the coming decade.
As always, the session will be candid, practical and off the record. No pitches, no posturing, and no unnecessary slide decks, just thoughtful people exploring an important frontier with the help of experts who understand both the science and the commercial realities.
