Bitcoin Lightning Workshop
This workshop will be focused on the Bitcoin lightning network. The lightning network is a layer 2 built on Bitcoin that is most commonly used for smaller, instantly settled payments with low fees.
We will begin the workshop to welcome any newcomers and answer any questions they may have about Bitcoin.
After that, we will discuss the lightning network and what it is, how it works, the benefits and the shortcomings of lightning, and the many different options there are for lightning wallets (and their tradeoffs).
Some of the things to consider when using the lightning network are custody, privacy, and fees.
To finish, the hope is to have open Q&A about anything Bitcoin related.
Questions are encouraged throughout the workshop.
