Pedal & Picnic

​Join us for a casual weekend bike ride & picnic through Shadwell and Wapping!

​The ride will start from Swapfiets near Liverpool Street, with a stop at Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden, and back to Swapfiets. We will be stopping at the park for a small picnic so please bring any snacks or drinks you might want to have or share! In case of bad weather, we will stop at a cafe at St Katharine Docks instead.

​🚲 Don’t have a bike to bring? Don’t worry - you can use this occasion to try out a bike from the lovely folks at Swapfiets - for free.

​Who is this event for?
This ride is suitable for those who already know how to ride a bike and are comfortable on London roads. The route we are taking will be quite relaxed but there will be some cycling on big roads.

​Please note that this ride is not led by a professional cycle leader and is purely for fun.

​11AM: Bike pick-up with Swapfiets & intro

​11.15AM: Start cycling

​12.00PM: Picnic & chatter at Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden (or cafe at St Katharine Docks)

​1.00PM: Cycle back to Shoreditch

​1.30PM: Arrive back at Swapfiets store

​What to bring
A picnic blanket or towel, a few snacks to share, and some water.
