Piñata Pitch is the student pitch competition that runs right inside Startupfest, Canada's biggest startup festival, on the Grand Quai in the Old Port of Montreal. Sign up through us and you get free access to the Salon de l'entrepreneuriat, the public side of the festival, so you're not just showing up for the pitch finals. 🎟️
The Salon pulls together thousands of people from Quebec's startup world: founders, investors, accelerators, big corporations, and the people building what comes next. You can catch live pitches and demos from hundreds of startups, get a first look at new products, meet ecosystem leaders, and grab real resources to push your own project forward.
Here's the setup: five finalist teams, pulled from a global pool of student founders, hit the stage and pitch live to a panel of judges and a room packed with investors and operators. Best pitch wins, grabs the bat, smashes the piñata, and walks off with the cash. Then they run it back on the main Startupfest showcase stage. 💥
