We would love to listen to your poetry, spoken word or story in an intimate, friendly, non-judgemental space where everyone speaks their heart in the form of words.
In a language that you are comfortable with and in an accent that you are okay with:

Performers, Get Your Gang TOO!!
Agenda:
6:00pm - 6:30pm: Register for open mic, get a snack/drink, mingle
6:30pm - 6:40pm: Land Acknowledgement, Event organizer's Intros, Rules
6:40pm - 7:30pm: 1st set of performers (First come; First serve)
7:30pm - 8:00pm: Break for snacks & drinks, mingle
8:00pm - 9:00pm: 2nd set of performers
General rules:
Please present your original work.
Poets will get 4-5 minutes to perform.
Storytellers and spoken word artists will get 7-8 mins to perform.
Languages: English + regional languages are encouraged. Requesting an English summary of your regional language work :)
No hate speech.
Each artist can only sign up to perform 1 piece at this event.
Please be on time for the registrations. All those who have registered will get to perform. We will call out names randomly. We have 15 slots for artists to perform.
