AI Online Happy Hour ｜SiPh : Powering the AI era
Meet Global AI Online Happy Hour
SiPh : Powering the AI era
In the AI era, compute is power. SiPh might be the leap to unlock it.
As model sizes and data workloads grow, traditional interconnects are reaching their limits. SiPh, by integrating optical communication into chip design, offers a new paradigm for computing architecture—and a major opportunity for global AI infrastructure.
In this AI Online Happy Hour, we bring together Ayar Labs, a SiPh unicorn from the US, and Rayleigh Vision Intelligence, a rising startup from Taiwan, to explore how SiPh is shaping the future of compute—and what it means for Taiwan’s next move.
🎯 Discussion Highlights
● Why is silicon photonics (SiPh) considered a key enabler for scaling AI computing infrastructure?
● How will SiPh reshape computing architectures and system design in the AI era?
● What are the technical bottlenecks and breakthrough opportunities for scaling compute power with SiPh—and how might Taiwan position itself in this transformation?
