LA Hard Tech Trivia - May

​Hard Tech Trivia is a new monthly gathering of LA's hard tech community: engineers, technical founders, and operators building rockets, robots, reactors, autonomous systems, and everything in between. Trivia will take place in the private back room at Boardroom in El Segundo, right in the middle of LA's hard tech corridor.

​May theme: Sci-Fi
Classic pub trivia, sci-fi edition. Iconic films, iconic quotes, iconic ships, iconic novels. From Star Wars to The Expanse, from Alien to Interstellar, from Blade Runner to The Martian. Bring your most unhinged take on Dune.

​Format:
Teams of 3 to 6 go head-to-head across 5 main rounds plus a Final Jeopardy Round:

• ​Round 1: Iconic Settings (Planets, Galaxies, Cities, etc.)

• ​Round 2: Big Iron (Spaceships)

• ​Round 3: Read the book (Novels)

• ​Round 4: I, Robot (AIs & androids)

• ​Round 5: Genre Godparents (Authors & Infamous reads)

• ​Final Jeopardy: Wager your fate

​**Intentional beer breaks between rounds.**

​Come with a team or come solo. Pre-registered teams stay seated together. Free agents get grouped at the Free Agents table to join forces.
