4 Grassroot Sustainability Initiatives
Join us for an inspiring evening of cross-border collaboration and grassroots communities!
Building on the momentum of our previous gatherings, Kokokara is happy and honored to host a networking and showcase event at Impact Hub Tokyo. This session aims to present and bring together four organizations that are redefining sustainability and community building across Japan and Asia.
Featured Guest Organizations
We are excited to welcome representatives from:
Giraffe Community: A non-profit organisation whose slogan is 'Love and Laughs for a Sustainable Life'. They host events and workshops that look like great fun, yet are deeply mindful of the planet.
SEGO Initiative: Pioneers in coastal conservation and "Fujisawa Beach Cleaning," bridging the gap between local action and global environmental health.
Green Welfare Indonesia: A youth-led powerhouse focusing on the intersection of social welfare and environmental justice in Southeast Asia.
WannaGonna: Redefining volunteerism by making social contribution accessible, fun, and impactful for the next generation.
Event Flow
18:00 – Doors Open: Grab a drink and settle in.
19:00 – Start: Welcome by Kokokara and Impact Hub Tokyo.
19:10 – Lightning Talks: Rapid-fire insights from our four guest organizations + Q&A.

About Impact HUB Tokyo
Impact HUB Tokyo is a member of the Impact HUB Global network, which is a global community of entrepreneurs seeking to create social impact.
They have provided a community co-working space for a diverse range of entrepreneurship, working styles, industries and cultures since its opening in 2013, bringing together many entrepreneurs and Start-ups, freelancers, artists, intrapreneurs and NPO leaders from Japan and abroad, and continues to generate collaboration among its members.
From 2022, they became a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-accredited incubation facility providing entrepreneurial support. In 2023, they launched a cafe “Communita Cafe” not only open to the community but more open for local neighbors, entrepreneurs and freelancers to gather together.

登壇団体の紹介

これまでのイベントの盛り上がりを引き継ぎ、今回Kokokaraは、Impact Hub Tokyoにてネットワーキング＆ショーケースイベントを開催できることを大変光栄に思います。本セッションでは、日本、そしてアジア全域でサステナビリティとコミュニティ形成を再定義している4つの団体を迎え、その活動をご紹介します。
登壇団体の紹介
素晴らしい活動を展開する以下の4団体からゲストをお招きします：
Giraffe Community: 「ラブでラフなサスティナブルライフ」がスローガンの非営利団体。楽しそうだけど、とっても地球のことを考えているイベントやWSを開催しています。
SEGO Initiative: 「Fujisawa Beach Cleaning」をはじめとする沿岸部保全のパイオニア。地域のアクションと、グローバルな海洋環境の健康を繋ぐ活動を行っています。
Green Welfare Indonesia: 東南アジアにおける社会福祉と環境正義の交差点に焦点を当てて活動する、インドネシア発のパワフルな若手リーダー集団です。
WannaGonna: 社会貢献をより身近に、楽しく、そしてインパクトのあるものへと変え、次世代のための新しいボランティアの形を提案しています。
イベントの流れ
18:00 – 開場: 受付開始。お飲み物を片手にリラックス交流時間。
19:00 – 開始: KokokaraとImpact Hub Tokyoによるウェルカムスピーチ。
19:10 – ライトニングトーク: ゲスト4団体による活動紹介 ＋ 質疑応答。
20:30 – オープンネットワーキング & ラップアップ: 自由な交流
21:00 – 閉会
21:15 – アフターディナー（任意）: 会場近くのインド・ネパール料理店（Sri Balaji 中目黒店）にて。

2024年に発足。イベントを通して、サステナビリティや気候変動に関心のある人々をつなげるコミュニティです。

Impact HUB Tokyo
社会にインパクトを生み出そうとする起業家たちの世界的なコミュニティ「Impact HUB」ネットワークの一員。2013年開設以来、多様な起業、働き方、業種、文化が集まるコミュニティ・コワーキング「Impact HUB Tokyo」を提供し、国内外から多くの起業家やスタートアップ、フリーランサー、アーティスト、企業内起業家、NPOリーダーなどが集まり、メンバー間のコラボレーションを生み出し続けています。
2022年より東京都認定インキュベーション施設となり、創業支援に携わる他、2023年には地域に開かれたデリカフェ「Communita Cafe（コミュニタ・カフェ）」をオープンし、より多くの地域の起業家やフリーランサーが集まる場所となっています。
