SEAmplified Workshop: Stop Cringing, Start Connecting
"Stop Cringing, Start Connecting"
How to turn “cringe” into real connections across Southeast Asia on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is cringe.
At least, that’s what most students think. 🫠
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
If you’re a JC, polytechnic, or university student, chances are you’ve scrolled LinkedIn and rolled your eyes at the humblebrags, overly polished posts, or endless “excited to announce” updates.
Here’s the thing: LinkedIn isn’t just about job hunting or bragging.
When used with authenticity and intention, it can open doors you never knew existed—internships, mentorship, regional opportunities, and real connections beyond Singapore.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
✨ How to show up on LinkedIn without feeling fake or cringey
✨ Simple steps to build an authentic online presence while still in school
✨ How Southeast Asia’s youth are using LinkedIn to stand out and connect across borders
This isn’t a boring lecture. Expect interactive activities, real stories, and practical tips you can apply immediately.
