Climate Talks: Policy & Advocacy

​Welcome to "Climate Talks" by Climate Circle Lisbon.

​​Climate Talks are regular gatherings focused on sharing knowledge, exchanging perspectives and building connections across Lisbon's climate ecosystem.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We will hear from two speakers, have a Q&A session, and close our event with a discussion circle and networking session. Join us for an evening of connection, inspiration, learning from peers and cross-sector exchange.

​​​​​​Meet the speakers:

• ​Rita Prates, Policy Officer at ZERO. Dr. Rita Prates is a Project Manager & Policy Officer, Climate and Energy Policies at ZERO. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. In addition to her work at ZERO, she is also part of Lisboa Possível, a civic movement working to make Lisbon a city where walking and cycling without fear are possible.

• ​Alice Fonseca, Climate & Policy Officer at WWF Portugal. Alice Fonseca is a Climate and Policy Officer at WWF Portugal. She is also a PhD student in Social and Environmental Psychology at ISCTE, where she obtained her Master's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Prior to WWF, she worked to promote sustainable development by supporting rural economies and empowering local communities at ADPM Mértola. She started her career at ADENE (Portugal's Energy Agency). Alice holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from NOVA FCSH.
