Founders Running Club
Founders Running Club is a global community where founders, investors, operators, and creators come together. We offer healthy, accessible, and fun networking opportunities to connect and work toward building a better future together.
In addition to weekly events, we have a community (mostly on WhatsApp), often the largest startup-related community in each city, or at least one of the largest. We also host special events at Burning Man, WebSummit in Rio & Lisbon, SF, NY, LA, and Austin TechWeeks; SWSX, Slush; TechCrunch Disrupt; Sifted Summit; TechBBQ, TNW, Techarena, Techchill, Dutch Blockchain Week, PAKCon, AI Summit; and major marathons like those in SF & Amsterdam. Essentially, we’re present at all major startup and tech-related conferences and running events worldwide.
For us, community comes first. We use running as an excuse to bond and meet in person. 50% of our members run only with us, usually just once a week. In a way, we pretend we’re a running club. But we love creating connections this way, and we believe these bonds are stronger. We have countless stories of people meeting at our events, starting new businesses, advising each other, and more.
We’ve been featured in The Verge, Inc. Magazine, Financial Times, multiple podcasts, and conferences programs.
With over 48,000+ members across 57 locations, covering all continents except Antarctica. Our team is nearing 170 people worldwide.
We started in SF on July 16, 2022 with 4 runners.
We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer-lead community. We don’t plan to start a business.
