Vibe Coding Lunchtime Lab
Learn the workflow, not the tool.
Vibe Coding Lab is a practical, 90-minute session on how to turn an idea into working software with AI.
We’ll use tools like Codex and Claude Code, but this isn’t a product tutorial. The goal is to learn a repeatable way to think through an idea, plan it, build it, test it, and keep improving it.
You don’t need to be a traditional developer.
What you’ll learn
How to turn a rough idea into a buildable project
How to work with AI coding agents without getting lost
The basic loop: plan → prompt → build → test → fix
How to keep your project organized as it grows
How AI apps can use memory to remember users, projects, and context
What to do when the AI gets confused or the build starts drifting
What can you build?
The same workflow can be used to create things like:
a personal budgeting app
a news curator that filters and summarizes what matters
a custom music studio or creative art generation tool
an AI assistant that remembers your projects
a research dashboard
a client portal
your own small AI-powered app
How the lab works
We’ll spend the session on one clear workflow, not trying to cover every possible tool.
You’ll see Elliott work through a real project from idea to prototype, including the prompts, decisions, mistakes, debugging, and structure behind the build.
By the end, you should understand the process well enough to start building your own project.
