About Event

This session moves the conversation from AI strategy to the human side of the equation. We'll examine how AI reshape day-to-day work, what employees are worried about, how organizations are communicating about AI deployment, and what it looks like when AI genuinely improves the employee experience versus when it creates surveillance, pressure, and belonging risk.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how AI is changing the nature of work across different job families and why the impact is uneven across levels, functions, and demographic groups.

  • Distinguish between AI as a productivity tool (augmentation) and AI as a workforce reduction mechanism (displacement) and identify where their organization sits on that spectrum.

  • Explain the psychological and cultural factors that drive employee trust or distrust of AI in the workplace, and connect those to engagement and belonging outcomes.

  • Apply a communication and change management lens to at least one AI deployment affecting employees in their organization.

  • Identify two design principles for introducing AI tools in ways that strengthen rather than erode the employee experience.
