Echoes In Ink: Calligraphy Workshop

​The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the evolution and history of Chinese characters, followed by an overview of Chinese calligraphy and the regular script style of Yan Zhenqing (颜真卿楷书), which will be the primary calligraphy style practiced during the session.

​The workshop fee includes:

​• A brief introduction to the history of Chinese calligraphy and the evolution of Chinese characters

​• One hour of guided calligraphy practice

​• Technique demonstrations and hands-on instruction focused on Yan Zhenqing’s regular script

​• All classroom materials, including brushes and paper, which you may take home afterward

​• A fun hands-on activity where you can create your own Chinese calligraphy fan
