Little Tea Workshop
Tea is a love shared by many of us. Thinking of it, I have invited a good friend of mine, who is also polyamorous, to share their tea knowledge with us and they gladly accepted!
"Hi,
I’m Malte (he/they/any) and a tea enthusiast who learned a lot from relatives who work in the tea industry.
For me there’s no better way to calm down, slow down and have a moment and ritual for myself than drinking tea. In the same way, tea offers space for conversations at the kitchen table, one infusion after the other.
I’d love to share basic knowledge about tea, take away any misconceptions about high end tea and show that it’s actually very easy to brew, doesn’t need perfect infusion time or water temperature.
I’ll open my tea chest for you and show you hopefully some new methods of brewing and drinking tea and share some of the rare and unique leaves I have in my collection.
Apart from tea, there’s also beautiful ceramics in cups, gaiwans and pots that I will bring."
This little tea workshop is open only for members of the Polyamory Berlin Community who have attended previous meet ups, or who have been vetted. A kind member of our community has offered to host us, thus we'll keep it for selected participants. If you haven't been able to attend one of our events but are part of the PBC and would like to join us for tea, send me a message on Discord or Telegram (you'll find me there as Noly/admin) so you can be vetted.
You are welcome to bring light snacks - preferably vegetarian/vegan - if you so wish. We will provide the tea.
