​About Mariah
Mariah "Roman" Lichtenstern is Founding Partner and Managing Director of DiverseCity Ventures, an impact-oriented VC firm backing early-stage technology companies, and Managing Director of Founder Institute Sacramento. She is an Aspen Tech Policy Hub Fellow and advisor to Berkeley SkyDeck, CalSEED, and Yale School of Medicine's Digital Innovation and Diversity Initiative, and serves on the boards of FourthWave and StartupSac. She works at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and venture capital, with a focus on closing the funding gaps that hold great founders back.
