For those who love fashion and costumes, or for anyone who needs inspiration - whether it’s for sewing and construction, or general artistry - it’s important to study the masters! So let’s see the work of Paul Tazewell - a Tony, Emmy, and Oscar-winning costume designer and the first African American man to win the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.

The theme will be “Team Elphaba vs. Team Glinda”. So if you love Elphaba, wear mostly green colors. If you love Glinda, wear mostly soft pink colors.
SCHEDULE
11:00 AM | Meet at the Museum Kitchen (Lower Level 1) for social hour
12:15 PM | Enter "Crafting Character: The Costumes of Paul Tazewell” exhibition.
1:00 PM | Head to the "Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition" (Final day!).
2:00 PM | Group picture in front of the 40 ft tall vortex
3:00 PM | Stop at the gift shop
