Join the Kindred community for a free theater class, hosted by member Candelaria. This gathering is designed to help you connect with your local Kindred community, swap travel and hosting stories, share tips, and ask questions about Kindred directly with fellow members. Ever wanted to try acting but felt too shy to take the first step? This free, beginner-friendly theater class is a chance to explore acting in a relaxed and welcoming environment—no experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to play.
Over three hours, we'll warm up, take part in group games, and explore improvisation while letting go of self-consciousness and reconnecting with your playful, expressive side. It’s not about performing perfectly—it’s about discovering new things about yourself and connecting with others along the way.
The class will be conducted in Spanish (castellano), so a good working level of Spanish is recommended to fully participate and enjoy the experience.
The class is led by Candelaria, an actress, director, and theater teacher with experience in Argentina, Italy, and Spain, and founder of Teatro para Principiantes in Barcelona.
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in (no skirts or restrictive clothing). Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in before we start. No previous acting experience needed.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes you can move in, water, and an open mind.
Ticket cost: Free to attend. Everyone covers their own or brings something to share.

About your host
✨ Candelaria is an Argentine actress, director, and theater teacher based in Barcelona. With experience across Argentina, Sicily, and Spain, she has written and directed her own plays, coordinated cultural spaces, and taught acting to people from all walks of life. She is the founder of Teatro para Principiantes, a Barcelona-based beginner theater program built around creating a welcoming space where everyone can play, explore, and express themselves without the pressure to be “good” at it. She loves helping people surprise themselves and discover their creative side.
